Leather Welding Blankets
| Leather welding blankets are durable, fire-resistant shields used to protect people, equipment, and surfaces from welding hazards like sparks, light-to-medium spatter, and slag. - Commonly made from heavy-duty, heat-resistant chrome leather, they are essential for vertical or horizontal protection in workshops, fabrication, and industrial settings.

Application - Surface Protection: Placed over machinery, furniture, or flammable materials near the welding area to prevent damage from sparks and molten metal droplets.
- Safety Barrier: Used as a protective, flexible, and reusable curtain to contain, isolate, or shield against grinding sparks and spatter.
- Automotive & Fabrication: Frequently used in panel beating and pipe welding to protect vehicle interiors or surrounding components from heat.
- Heat Control: They help maintain heat in a welded object, allowing it to cool down slowly, which is crucial for preventing cracking in certain materials.
- Vertical Drapes: Heavy-duty leather can be hung vertically to stop falling sparks and protect nearby personnel.

PREOXIDISED CARBON FIBRE MAT - PANTHER FELT
Darco DPCM Series (also known as Panther Felt) is a Pre-Oxidized Carbon Fibre Felt inherently flame-resistant insulation that can withstand short term temperatures up to 1000°C / 1800°F with continuous temperatures of 400°C. This high temperature felt is woven from Polyacrylonitrile fibers (PAN fiber), a precursor to carbon fiber.

Riggers Gloves
Darco riggers gloves are leather both front and back, we have an elastic wrist band for a tighter and more comfortable fit. They are double Kevlar stitched, with no stitching on the palm for better handling. Our are constructed with winged thumbs (new ones will be size colour coded) and are to AS/NZ safety standard EN:388.
