E Glass Woven Tape - Plain

Plain white glass woven tape often referred to as woven glass cloth tape or fibreglass tape is primarily used for high-temperature electrical insulation, thermal protection, and structural reinforcement.

Used in industrial applications such as automotive, aerospace, mining and marine

It is prized for its exceptional tensile strength, flame resistance, and ability to maintain structural integrity in high-heat environments

Applications

Electrical Insulation and Motor Repair 

• Coil and Conductor Insulation: Used for wrapping coils and conductors in motors, transformers, and generators, particularly Class F (155°C) to Class H (180°C–200°C) systems.
• Insulating Furnace Leads: Used for wrapping high-temperature furnace leads, stove controls, and switches.
• Fixing and Banding: Used for banding winding heads and holding coils in electrical equipment. 

High-Temperature Sealing and Protection 

• Duct and Chamber Sealing: Used for permanent sealing of high-temperature ducts, pipes, and ovens, often resisting temperatures up to 288°C.

Graphite E Glass Woven Tape

Graphite-impregnated E-glass woven tape is a specialized industrial material designed for high-temperature insulation, protection, and sealing. The impregnation of graphite into the E-glass fabric improves its lubrication, heat resistance, and abrasion resistance, making it ideal for harsh, flexing environments

High Temperature Resistance: Capable of handling temperatures up to 700°C–1000°C

Vermiculite E Glass Woven Tape

E-Glass Woven Tapes coated with Vermiculite are specialized, high-temperature, and flame-resistant insulation materials. They consist of a woven E-glass fiberglass base tape coated with a vermiculite dispersion. Which increases temperature resistance, abrasion resistance, and provides a dust-suppression layer. These tapes are primarily used in industrial settings for thermal insulation, fire protection, and sealing

Basalt Texturised Woven Tape

Basalt Textured Woven Tape is a high-performance, non-combustible material derived from volcanic rock. Primarily used for thermal insulation, fire protection, and industrial sealing in high-temperature environments. It is favored for its flexibility, high strength, and superior abrasion resistance compared to fiberglass.

Tadpole Tape/Rope

Tadpole tape is a specialized thermal gasketing used to create high-temperature seals on doors, access ports, and flanges for equipment like furnaces, ovens, boilers, and wood stoves.

Preventing heat and gases from escaping by using a compressible bulb for sealing and a tail for attachment, available in various heat-resistant materials. 

• Sealing Doors & Access Points: Its primary function is sealing openings on industrial ovens, furnaces, incinerators, kilns, and even domestic heaters.
• Flange & Gasketing: Used as a gasket where low bolt force is applied, such as on crucible lids or ladle seals in aluminum casting.
• High-Temperature Environments: Ideal for containing hot gases and providing insulation in extreme heat, often up to 1000°F (538°C) or higher depending on the material. 

How it Works (Bulb & Tail)

• The Bulb: A dense core (fiberglass, ceramic, or metal mesh) wrapped in fabric that compresses under pressure to form an airtight seal.
• The Tail: A flexible strip that extends from the bulb, used to fasten the tape in place with fasteners, clips, or adhesive. 

Materials & Types

• Materials: Commonly made from fiberglass, silica, or ceramic fibers for high heat resistance, with cores of stainless steel or Inconel.
• Styles: Available in different configurations, including conventional (centered tail), tangential (tangent tail), and double-tail designs
